Fantastic atmosphere in the restaurant, food, and service make you come back again
It was hard for the waitress to understand what we were saying, and it was harder for her to speak English 😕
Sabor mix is a great Peruvian restaurant with authentic and delicious flavor! We have been several times before and went with some friends the other night. We ordered the tostones acevichados and bang bang shrimp, which were both great! Although a little disappointing that they could not bring it without cilantro. Our friends ordered the carne asada plate and the arroz con mariscos, which they both really liked. I ordered the tacu tacu aji de gallina, and it has been the best thing I have tried at the restaurant so far! Definitely recommend! My boyfriend got the churrasco, which is usually really delicious, but this time was really lacking in flavor. We also tried their passion fruit juice—very fresh and VERY sweet. For dessert, don’t miss out on the alfajores!
Definitely check out this place if you haven’t. It’s one of the better South American restaurants in Jax!
